THE NEW ERA OF DATING
Thesis
Dating in the 21st century is driven by the standards formed by social media and dating apps that permit free behavior and causal connections with people. Changing romantic priorities has resulted in the evolution of dating into a new, drastically different era of dating in which traditional courtship is rejected.
OUR PURPOSE
With this project, our goal was to explore the evolution of dating from old-fashioned, traditional courtship into the modernized method of dating that is present in today's society.

By conducting research and analyzing different perspectives of the past and present dating culture, we were able to explore the key differences between the old era of dating and the new era of dating and examine the factors that have supplemented and powered the evolution of dating.
​
In addition, we were able to explore the effects of the New Era of Dating on other aspects of relationships, such as marriage, divorce, and relationship longevity.
